Here at the Old Rectory we know how important it is to make the big day a memory that will last forever and are more than happy to cater for any style of wedding.

Our luxurious four poster honeymoon suite, with private facilities, is made available free to the bride and groom on their wedding night. Guests who wish to stay overnight can also be accommodated.

We want your day to be perfect and will cater for the individuals' needs. We offer advice on details such as the layout and colour scheme of your wedding, decoration and seating arrangements. The conservatory restaurant is the perfect place to hold a civil ceremony or wedding reception; with high acoustic ceiling disco lighting, built in sound system and dance floor.  It also offers easy access to the gardens and adjoining bar. Capacity – 110 seated; 150 evening buffet.
 

We include extras as standard in our wedding packages, which include:-

 
  • Hoops of flowers and pedestals around the room
  • Coloured napkins of your choice
  • Cake stand and knife
  • White table top skirt to adorn the top table
  • Complimentary silver plated photo frame
  • Special features for photographs including pergola, gazebo, stile and fountain
  • Small dance floor for the
    evening’s entertainment
  • Experienced member of staff to act as master of ceremonies
  • Co-ordinating balloons (bunches and arch) at very competitive rates

will be the only function taking place at The Old
Rectory Hotel on the date booked.
 

For Civil Ceremonies only we offer the following facilities:

Small beamed restaurant, accommodating 60 persons

 £250.00

Large hexagonal conservatory, accommodating 150 persons

 £300.00

 

If the wedding breakfast is also catered for the ceremony room hire will be reduced to

£200.00. Both rooms are air conditioned.

 

Civil Ceremonies can be performed on our premises at 10am , 12noon, 2pm , and 4pm

7 days a week pending availability.

 

Wedding Receptions

 

We offer an extensive range of menus to suite the individual needs of the bride and groom;

 

Three Course sit down meal. Menus to suit you and your guests. Select your starter main course and sweet from our extensive Menu Selector. Suitable for wedding breakfasts. From £25.00 per person.

 

Two and Three course Cold Meat Carvery. - With large salad bar selection hot baby potatoes and crusty French bread. Tea and coffee included. From £24.00 per person.

 

BBQ Menus (May – September only) available with or without salad bar. Suitable for evening receptions. 3 course BBQs also available. Various menus from £7.50 per person.

 

Evening Buffets from £9.50 per person.

 

Special dietary requirements catered for.

Vegetarian menu available.

Terms

 

  • Where no food is offered to guests no bar facilities will be available.
  • Four poster room is only complimentary when booking a wedding reception and not just the ceremony.
  • Minimum 70 guests for 3 course meal on Saturdays.
  • Smaller numbers catered for on other days at the management’s discretion.
  • All menus must be pre-ordered.
  • Max 110 wedding breakfast, Max 150 for an evening reception.
  • The booking of the registrar is the responsibility of the couple.
  • All registrar fees are separate and must be paid direct.
  • Registrar's booking as confirmation must be forwarded to the hotel.
