Exclusive Wedding Venue
We know how important it is to make your day a memory that will last forever. So that we can offer you the very best level of service and attention to detail our ‘one wedding' policy ensures that you and your guests will have an exclusive wedding venue on your very special day.
Our conservatory restaurant can be used for both civil ceremony and wedding receptions. It can hold up to 110 guests seated and 150 informally. We are also flexible enough to accommodate smaller parties offering our Victoriana suite (60 max) for those who wish for more intimate surroundings
Civil CeremoniesWe are fully licensed for wedding ceremonies, which can be performed by an appointed registrar on any day of the week. Our beautiful ceremony room with high vaulted ceiling and views of the gardens offers an idylic setting for any wedding. It has direct access to outdoor patio seating and a light and airy feel all year round. Perfect for weddings of any size, any time of year.
Surrounded by gardens the beautiful conservatory restaurant makes an excellent reception venue. Included as standard for all weddings are; hoops of flowers and pedestals around the room, coloured napkins of your choice, cake stand and knife, white table top skirt to adorn the top table. For your Evening Reception the room benefits from a high acoustic ceiling, disco lighting, built in sound system and central dance floor. It also offers direct access to the gardens/patio and adjoining bar.
We believe that all weddings are individual and offer bespoke menus and drinks to all couples. This means you can not only select your menu to suit you tastes but also your budget. We have 20 years experience in catering for wedding receptions and offer an excellent range of dishes for both Wedding Breakfast and Evening Receptions. Professional and friendly service
As a family run business we are proud to offer friendly and professional service to all our customers. To ensure your individual requirements are met our experienced wedding co-ordinator will be able to advise you on every aspect of your day, from timings, colour, layout, menus, décor and seating.
On the day of the wedding our experienced wedding butler will be on hand to coordinate and announce events.
Gardens and grounds
No venue is complete without that all important back drop for photos. The Old Rectory certainly does not disappoint. It has over 3 acres of truly stunning grounds with many features for photographs including pergola, gazebo and fountain
The large patio seating area offers guests the ideal place to relax whilst you're busy with the photographer.
Should any of your guests wish to stay the night there are 16 luxury en-suite rooms available with a complimentary bridal suite for the newlyweds.

- No outside catering permitted
- Four poster room is only complimentary when booking a wedding reception and not just the ceremony.
- Minimum 70 guests for 3 course meal plus evening reception on Saturdays and bank holiday Sundays.
- Smaller numbers catered for on other days at the management's discretion.
- All menus must be pre-ordered.
- Max 110 wedding breakfast, Max 150 for an evening reception.
- The booking of the registrar/church is the responsibility of the couple.
- All registrar fees are separate and must be paid direct.
- Registrar's booking as confirmation must be forwarded to the hotel.
