COVID-19 Measures

COVID19 - Your Safety is our Priority

Our guest's wellbeing is our priority and we are commited to ensuring you are protected from the risk of Coronvirus in all areas of our business. As well as our usual thorough cleaning regime we now have strict protocols in place to ensure we comply with the latest Government Guidelines. We are pleased to qualify for our 'We're Good To Go' accreditation mark. The Hospitality Industry standard for Coronavirus readiness.

To ensure the safety of our customers and staff we have made the following changes to our usual service:


  • - Thorough and regular cleaning of contact points
  • - Safe distance signage and floor markers
  • - Staff equipped with face coverings and appropriate PPE where necessary
  • - Hand sanitser available at key points throughout hotel and restaurant
  • - Our staff have been trained in Covid risk awareness and our Covid policies
  • - Staff health awareness and temperature monitoring

    PLEASE NOTE as of 8th August Guests are required to wear masks in common areas and when moving through corridors within the hotel


- Please download the NHS COVID-19 App prior to arrival and scan displayed QR poster on entry
- We are required by law to collect Track and Trace data from the lead guest for all bookings 
- However all members in the party may scan the QR poster so that they can also be contacted
- If customers do not have a mobile device they may check in at reception in the usual manner
- Hotel customers are still required to complete a check in form on arrival


- Hand sanitiser dispensers at reception entrance
- Our guests are required to wear a face covering when in communal areas such as reception
- We have installed a perspex screen and safe distance markers at the reception desk
- Freshly sanitised pens will be offered for signing in
- Your room key will be thoroughly sanitised prior to hand over
- Hotel guests will also have their temperature taken using a digital thermometer on arrival
- Sorry we will not be able to carry your bags unless you are not able to do so yourself
- Guests will be directed to their room from reception. We are not able to enter your room
- Contactless or card payments are prefered when settling you bill
- Please could we request only one person from your room at the desk at any one time


- Your room will be throughly sanitised with antiviral disinfectant prior to your arrival with special 
   attention to common contact points
- All our linen is professionally laudered at a high temperature to ensure thorough sanitisation
- Sorry we will not be able to enter your room to service on a daily basis.
- If you would like fresh towels or extra tea/coffee please let us know at reception
- For room service we are not able to enter your room. Your tray will be left outside
   the door
- To reduce conduit items in your room we have removed all non essential items such as cushions and


- All tables in the restaurant will be socially distanced
- Our serving staff will wear face coverings as standard
- Common use condiments have been removed and will be brought to the table
- All tables are cleaned with antiviral disinfectant prior to seating
- Our cutlery is washed at high temperatures and individually wrapped 
- Where linen is supplied this is replaced for each sitting
- We will leave windows and doors open where appropriate to allow fresh air flow
- Our menu can be viewed via our website
- Communal breakfast items will no longer be offered and made available via table service
- Outdoor seating with canopy can be offered in clement weather


- All our serving staff will be wearing face coverings as standard
- A perspex sceen has been installed around the bar area
- Table service will be offered for the ordering and serving of bar drinks


As a particularly spacious venue we are confident we will be able to operate a safe and enjoyable environment for all. With this in mind we are thrilled to announce we now have a newly installed patio canopy which we hope will extend our restaurant seating capacity in the summer months and beyond. We very much hope this will mean more of you can enjoy our hospitality and gardens.
