The Original Old Rectory dates back to the mid 18th Century and served nearby Crostwick Church (one of the oldest churches in Norfolk). Now privately owned the Solomon family have transformed the Rectory into a beautiful Country House Hotel. Set within 3.5 acres of landscaped gardens The Old Rectory Hotel is ideally situated to enjoy the best that Norfolk has to offer. With easy access to the Norfolk Broads, Norwich City Centre, Tourist Attractions, Norwich International Airport and the North Norfolk Coastline.

Accommodation

We have 16 comfortable and well equipped rooms in total, many of which offer views of the gardens. All of our rooms offer ensuite facilities with either a walk in shower or shower/bath. (If you have a specific requirement please enquire on booking.) We are entirely ground floor and all rooms are non-smoking. In the main hotel there are 12 spacious and well equipped rooms offering either, double standard or King size beds. Twin rooms and single occupancy also available. We have a further 4 rooms in our cottage building just a short walk across the gardens. Including 3 standard double one four poster bed.

Bedroom Facilities - Ensuite shower or shower/bath with complimentary toiletries and towels provided, flat screen TV with free view, tea coffee making facilities, trouser press and hairdryer.

Nestled in the village of Crostwick near Norwich (4 miles north) The Old Rectory is surrounded by common and farm land and is set within 3.5 acres of beautiful gardens. Our setting makes the perfect location for a short break or relaxing holiday. With a direct route to Norwich city centre and the famous Norfolk Broads just 2 miles away, guests are ideally situated to enjoy the best that Norfolk has to offer.

Deluxe Room

Our Deluxe Room is ideal for couples looking for a touch of luxury and romance. This room now features a beautiful white sleigh bed and romantic style white furniture. This is a quiet ground floor room with plenty of space. 

Family Rooms and Extra Beds

Most hotel rooms are large enough to fit an extra bed for a child (up to 12yrs, max 2 per room). However for larger families we offer Adjoining Family Rooms. These rooms consist of 2 ensuite rooms with an interconnecting door and can sleep up to 4 adults and 4 children. If you would like to enquire about an adjoining room please contact us in person as these cannot be booked online.

Breakfast Included

Included in our bed and breakfast rates we are delighted to offer a Full English or Continental breakfast prepared using some of the best locally sourced produce in North Norfolk.
Breakfast is served: Mon to Sat 7am - 9am Sunday 7.30am - 9am

Lunch Menu and Packed Lunches

A bar snacks menu is available through out the day and includes a selection of sandwiches, warm filled baguettes and hot meals. For those that are venturing out for the day we offer packed lunches made to order.

Evening Meals

Evening meals are available to hotel guests 7 days a week and are taken in one of two fully air- conditioned restaurants. Outdoor dining under our patio canopy is also available in clement weather. Our menu features an extensive range of dishes offering traditional home cooked food. A children's menu is also available. Please advise of any special dietary requirements prior to your visit. Hotel Facilities

Swimming Pool - The outdoor, heated swimming pool is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Its sheltered position makes it an excellent sun trap in the summer months.

PLEASE NOTE DUE TO UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES OUR POOL WILL BE CLOSED FROM THE 19TH SEPTEMBER 2022. Our apologies for any inconvenience caused. We look forward to reopening our pool for the summer season 2023.

Restaurant: Breakfasts and Evening meals are served in one of two fully air conditioned restaurants offering excellent home cooked food. Lunches and packed lunches are available on request.  

Gardens and patio seating - We have 3.5 acres of beautiful landscaped garden for our guests to enjoy, with extensive patio seating area.

Licensed Bar - Our restaurant licensed bar is open for hotel guests

Lounge - We have a comfortable lounge seating area with TV and ches lounge and open fire in the winter months.

Laundry Room -  Ironing board and iron, washing machine, Shoe cleaning.

FREE WIFI - Wireless broadband Internet connection is available in hotel rooms, lounge and both restaurants. (Now also available in cottage rooms)
